As Denplan's dentist and patient numbers have grown, the Company has expanded internally too, with the number of employees currently standing at approximately 260. A dynamic and lively company, we encourage our staff to develop on both personal and professional levels. Ideas for improvement are welcome from all employees. We have a high level of commitment to training and, in 1996, and again in 1999, we were accredited with Investors in People status. We have won a National Training Award for a programme designed to develop specific skills within our sales force; to add to our 2 previous Regional Training Awards. In 1997 we received accreditation from the Institute of Management to run the 'Certificate in Management' in-house. In December 1998, we were recognised as the '1998 Business of the Year', awarded by Meridian TV in association with the Quality Development Association
